Brief summary
Reproduced verbatim from the official ClinicalTrials.gov record. Not medical advice.
This study evaluates whether simulation-based training improves pediatric emergency medicine providers' competence and confidence in bougie-assisted intubation for difficult pediatric airways. Because pediatric intubation is a high-risk, low-frequency procedure, simulation provides a safe environment for developing and assessing airway management skills. The study will assess providers' baseline experience and confidence, evaluate improvements following training, and examine confidence retention at six months.
